An Edge to Perception was filmed over an extended period of time while on residency at the Artists Studios in the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
The opening scenes are obscured allowing the building to slowly reveal itself. It looks at the building under construction stripped back and laid bare posing the question, ‘When does a building become a museum?’.
The ambient sound was recorded in real time. There is a presence in the absence of the workers which creates a constant awareness of their activity.
