‘Anti-room’, 3-person show, curated by Dr Hilary Murray, Artbox, Foley St, Dublin.
Out of Shot I-V evolved from my residency at Belfast Exposed; this series of photographic prints were created for ‘Anti-room’, a 3-person show, curated by Dr Hilary Murray, Artbox, Foley St, Dublin.
Using the community photographic archive to explore the urban infrastructure and landscape of the city. In particular low-density housing estates of the 1970s, introverted layouts of cul-de-sacs and prefabricated concrete bollards.
Out of Shot I-V is a series of black and white photographic diptychs. Each pair of photographs consists of a photograph printed from the archive and the other taken at the same or similar location in 2014.
